01. DROP ME A LINE
Fill out my easy contact form here and I’ll respond within XX days with a pricing guide and next steps to officially book. A contract and retainer holds your place on my calendar. I’ll take it from here!
02. THE “GETTING TO KNOW YOU”S
I’ll share a questionnaire to learn more about you, your family, and what you have in mind for your photos. That helps me plan out a session that fits your family to make this whole experience comfortable and custom.
03. SCOUTING YOUR SPOT
From your questionnaire, I’ll scout locations around Green Bay and Door County that fit your vibe. Think: local parks, a splashpad, beaches, even your own home. Looking for something beyond those areas (like your cabin in the Northwoods) – let’s talk about it!
04. CUSTOMIZING YOUR SESSION
Clear communication is key for me. I’ll share guides and tailored wardrobe recommendations (with shoppable links!) to help you feel totally prepared. I can also help you arrange hair and make-up. Whatever you need, I’m on it.
05. IT’S A (PLAY) DATE
The biggest piece of advice I give my families is to think of your session like a family play date, not a photoshoot. Of course we’ll get those Christmas card shots, but a lot of time is spent simply hanging out with your family. What could be easier, right?
06. DELIVERY DAY
About 6 weeks after your photo session, I’ll deliver your fully edited images in a secure, online gallery. If you’re ordering prints or an album, I’ll walk you through that process to make the entire experience seamless and simple.
I consider myself a photographer for women. I photograph boudoir, maternity, motherhood, family, and intimate portraiture.

What is your turnaround time?
Jessie Alaura Studios is located in Door County and Green Bay, Wisconsin. I travel within about 60 miles of my home base.
I do also travel for sessions. I find myself often in St Paul and Minneapolis where I utilize some of the many beautiful studios there.
Where are your Photo Sessions Held?
It is really important to me to control the number of clients that I accept at any given time so that I can dedicate a lot more time, effort, energy, and all of my creativity into each client.
I only book 6 sessions per month in the summer months and 8 sessions per month in the fall and winter months.
I recommend booking your session 2-4 months in advance.
How far in advance do you schedule?

I am a big believer in embracing your authentic body. I may remove non-permanent blemishes or imperfections, as well as minor scars. However, it is important to note that I will never edit out any permanent aspects that are a part of your unique identity. I am committed to responsibly enhancing your natural beauty by delicately smoothing skin and accentuating the beauty of your eyes.
what is your editing and retouching philosophy?
While it certainly benefits my business to post the photos that I am proud of, I will never post images that a client prefers stay private. I also am quite willing to posting images that are anonymous.
